Spring Open House & Concert - 1:00 PM

Our SPRING OPEN HOUSE WILL BE THIS SUNDAY, MAY 19TH AT 1:00 PM. The approximate length of our program is 85min. The choir, orchestra, and students can't wait to show you what they have been working on. As with any group sport, this performance is a team effort. If one person is absent, it challenges the whole team's game plan. Therefore, all students need to be there (PRE-SCHOOL THROUGH 12TH GRADE) in order for the program to be as they have practiced and planned for.
CHOIR STUDENTS NEED TO BE HERE BY 12PM.
ORCHESTRA STUDENTS NEED TO BE HERE BY 12:15PM, dressed in black and white attire only.
ALL OTHER STUDENTS should be here and in their classrooms by 12:30. Please dress nicely.
*FOR THE YOUNGER STUDENTS PLEASE BE SURE THAT THEY HAVE A GOOD SNACK PRIOR TO THE CONCERT. WE WANT THEIR TUMMIES HAPPY DURING THEPERFORMANCE.
Once you've worked up an appetite, please be sure to purchase lunch from our Promethean Society. They will be holding an "AROUND THE WORLD FOOD FESTIVAL". The food fest will include a variety of delicious dishes from all around the world such as, Korean BBQ, Vietnamese egg rolls, hamburgers, deserts, and much more! (menu below)
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS THE HIGH SCHOOL'S 2013 PROM.
*** ONE LAST NOTE: Please be prepared to stay for the entire concert. We appreciate your understanding in not leaving after your child's performance. Our students and staff have put in a lot of hard work, and would love for you to see the entire concert!

This is an overnight field trip at the Ocean Institute of Dana Point. The program takes place on a docked ship where the students make history come alive as they recreate the life of a nineteenth century sailor.
In order to help raise funds for the 4th-6th "Revolutionary Voyage," they will be offering the following lunch special this Wednesday.

9th-12th Graders: Field Trip to CSU Fullerton - 8:45 AM

Mr. Bonfiglio has organized a field trip to California State University Fullerton for May 29th for all 9th through 12th grade students. Bus will leave the school at 8:50 am and return about 3:00. The transportation cost will be $10 per student. All students must be transported both ways by the school bus (unless a signed note from parent or guardian states that they willl provide transportation,) no student drivers.
Students will visit:
1) the library and investigate research mediums (microfilm, microfiche, etc) reference section, Lexus Nexus, etc.
2) the Writing Center to show students where and how to get help with essays
3) the Tutoring Center to see where and how students can get help with ALL their other subjects
4) the Student Center to see the varied services offered (event tickets, travel agent office, hair salon, café, etc)
5) the administration building to see how to get parking permits, medical insurance, how to add/drop classes, etc.
6) the Titan Book Store to see how to buy / return books and their deadlines, find required class texts, testing materials, and using the copy center.
Students should bring $5-$10 for lunch at the food court in the Student Center. During the tour, students will be asked to turn off all telephones, not to use earphones, not to chew gum, and generally be on their best behavior.
