I have had a variety of experience in Mathematics and Science. My love for math began in high school, tutoring friends, and my love for math continued. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a California Single Subject Teaching Credential. I also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Epidemiology. I have been fortunate to have a variety of teaching experiences and I have worked with a variety of learning styles. I have a special interest in helping students who struggle in math, so they can succeed. In addition to teaching math, I have taught and prepared students for the math portion of the PSAT and SAT. I also worked at a private school for students with learning differences. As an epidemiologist I was able to use my math skills in the real world. I have researched and written reports on topics such as, SIDS, breast cancer, heart disease, Injuries in Orange County, and Chronic Disease in Orange County.
